ten inches and more

Status of New Orleans right now: flooded. Not K-flooded, but ten-inches-of-rain-and-the-southern-parishes-have-sandbags-out flooding. Waist-deep in some parts, some homes and businesses are flooding. It was a goddamn miracle I made it to work this morning. I have a history of totaling my cars in washouts. Still pouring, too, as of this post. I’m feeling a little creeped, too, because I had nightmares all last night about this entire city being flooded in 40 feet of water. Woke up to rain. Happy Monday.
